We knew that recyclable materials were already a good option for sustainable packaging, but we wanted to go further and create something unique that would excite us and our customers.
While exploring even more sustainable options, we came across a way to make our products even more environmentally friendly - using wood chips generated from sawing and planing processes in the woodworking industry. We were intrigued by the idea of processing existing materials/raw materials instead of using new raw materials that have to be extracted first, so-called "Second Generation Wood". This is how our cellulose sleeve CelPen came into being. Helping to reduce waste and conserve our natural resources is what motivates us every day.
We are very proud that with our CelPen and our other packaging made from existing raw materials, we are contributing to a positive change in the packaging industry. The decision to salvage and add value to wood waste, reducing the environmental footprint of our products from the start, was not only a business decision, but also a matter of the heart.
