Injection moulding

Using injection molding, we produce on DEMAG or Arburg lines lipbalm caps, front and end caps as well as jars, pots and seals.

These serve as raw parts for the decorative cosmetic industry for e.g. lip liner, eyeliner or lip care sticks.
Our jars, pots and seals/closures are perfectly suited as packaging for cosmetic products as well as for nutritional supplements or skin and body care.

Injection moulding

Injection moulding is a thermoplastic moulding process mainly used in plastics processing. The same technical details apply as for extruded, tapered sleeves but a different process technology is used. This makes it possible, among other things, to produce glossy tubes, closures and caps by injection moulding. We inject both bio-based raw materials and classic plastics (e.g. PP).

Process description

With an injection moulding machine - we use DEMAG or Arburg lines in injection moulding - the respective material is injected plasticized into the injection mould under pressure. In the mould, the material returns to its solid state by cooling or a physical cross-linking reaction. After opening the mould, the finished part is removed. The cavity of the tool (the cavity) determines the shape and surface structure of the finished part.

Our bio- and plastic-based injection molded parts are used to produce first-class lip liners, eyeliners, kajals, crayons and writing pencil.
